I have always loved drawing and sculpting animals and I studied art to A level before focussing on a career as a classical guitarist and teacher. My first ceramic sculptures were made in 2018, when I joined Sandra Bidmead’s pottery class. I use white stoneware, coloured with oxide glazes or painted with underglaze, aiming to create character and movement in my work and I enjoy sketching from life when preparing my designs, if possible. I am open for commissions and I have a particular interest in pet portraits.
