The Pottery Corner was established by Sarah Amos in 2017. Sarah is fascinated by the endless possibilities and outcomes of working with clay, together with its ability to soothe and relax the mind. She has a City & Guilds in Decorative Glass, and worked for many years in fused and stained glass. This led her back to clay and ceramics which had been a passion in her early twenties.

Sarah works from her studio in a cosy corner of Fishbourne (Chichester, West Sussex) creating hand-built and wheel thrown pieces. With the use of an electric kiln or Raku firing, Sarah makes an eclectic array of items for both home and garden – both functional, sculptural and beautiful.

Ever wondered if you could throw on a pottery wheel? – Sarah runs regular courses in both throwing and hand building from the beginner to the more experienced potter with course details on her website at www.thepotterycorner.co.uk
